Team Rocco's players were relieved. 4 minutes into the match, Team Rocco's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tróia came free, but Mattias Löfkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bo Lundqvist came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Team Rocco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Lundqvist couldn't finish the play. Isac Tholsson scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arlindo Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lars-Erik Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Team Rocco's zone, Alberto Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Löfkvist came out of the goal and Alberto Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Löfkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tróia in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Renato Pena got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes, Alberto Tróia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ATHLETICO PRaiano and the Team Rocco players grew even worse after the yellow card. 19 minutes into the game, Eusébio Tepedino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATHLETICO PRaiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team Rocco the free kick. A collision led to ATHLETICO PRaiano getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Eusébio Tepedino hit a great ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Tomas Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Rocco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Jonasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mattias Löfkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tróia in the 23rd minute of the match. Mattias Löfkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Iuri Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pedro Paulo Vidal fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ATHLETICO PRaiano's protests and gave Pedro Paulo Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Renato Pena to strike the kick off in the second half. Mattias Löfkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renato Pena's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. With 58 minutes on the clock, Chicão Vargas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 58 played minutes ATHLETICO PRaiano got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Vargas. Arlindo Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Jonasson in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Iuri Arruda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATHLETICO PRaiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team Rocco the free kick. After 61 played minutes ATHLETICO PRaiano got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Arruda. Arlindo Romero made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Bo Lundqvist sent off a good shot on target. César Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 81 minutes, Wilhelm Sjöberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Team Rocco and the ATHLETICO PRaiano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Rocco's goalkeeper Mattias Löfkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mattias Löfkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iuri Arruda in the 83rd minute of the match. Iuri Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Mattias Löfkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Team Rocco eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
