The tension between the Palau Końskowola and the ATHLETICO PRaiano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ksawery Awizo hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Chicão Vargas's late challenge caught a Palau Końskowola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Chicão Vargas got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Wasyl Olejniczak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arlindo Romero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Palau Końskowola's Dominik Cieslak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Palau Końskowola from getting a goal against them. After 32 minutes of play, Palau Końskowola's Hieronim Huchro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arlindo Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the game, Bogumil Ikalewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palau Końskowola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATHLETICO PRaiano the free kick. After a rather tough play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's César Severo got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Ksawery Awizo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, Palau Końskowola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walery Luty to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Tróia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arlindo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
