Florin Boerescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Stoicii's Florin Boerescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Rune Broberg in the 17th minute of play. Karl-Åke Johansson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Karl-Åke Johansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florin Boerescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Stoicii's Florin Boerescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Rune Broberg in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Holm in the 26th minute of play forced Stoicii's goalkeeper Florin Boerescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Stoicii got a freekick which was hit by Gică Dragu. In the 41st minute of the match Bengt-Rune Broberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florin Boerescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Gelu Zmărăndache fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stoicii's protests and gave Gelu Zmărăndache a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes Stoicii got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Zmărăndache. Nicolae Curuțiu lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Stoicii:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kattvik kings:s goal. Florin Boerescu had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Bengt-Rune Broberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gelu Zmărăndache stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hubert Holm kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Karl-Åke Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Florin Boerescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Urdăreanu during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kattvik kings made a substitution. Simon Colin replaced Hubert Holm. Cristian Urdăreanu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Stoicii's Florin Boerescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Colin in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Karl-Åke Johansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florin Boerescu. Stoicii's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Åke Johansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 69th minute, Karl-Åke Johansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kattvik kings fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 71 minutes into the match, Stoicii's goalkeeper Florin Boerescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Åke Johansson. Florin Boerescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Majman went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. A collision led to Stoicii getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gelu Zmărăndache hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Stoicii's zone, Bengt-Rune Broberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Boerescu came out of the goal and Bengt-Rune Broberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Karl-Åke Johansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gică Dragu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Florin Boerescu made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Karl-Åke Johansson sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd match minute, Stoicii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gică Dragu to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute of the match Simon Colin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florin Boerescu skillfully saved the ball. In the 96th minute, Jonas Bergkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Kattvik kings could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Stoicii throughout the match.
