Florin Boerescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Lia in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Stoicii's Nicolae Curuțiu got a free kick in the 6th minute. Florin Boerescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The supporters of Stoicii booed when Monte Hermoso Beach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Matro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florin Boerescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Lia in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Stoicii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Zmărăndache to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Arnaldo Matro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florin Boerescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Florin Boerescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 25th minute, Șerban Popilean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Stoicii's zone, Benito Raphael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Boerescu came out of the goal and Benito Raphael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Matro in the 28th minute of play forced Stoicii's goalkeeper Florin Boerescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nicasio Lia fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monte Hermoso Beach's protests and gave Nicasio Lia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Stoicii booed when Monte Hermoso Beach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Lia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Cristian Urdăreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eleuterio Aztore was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Isidro Ourente scored 1-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florin Boerescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 40 minutes, Nicasio Lia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte Hermoso Beach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Lia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Stoicii's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Lia came free, but Florin Boerescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Monte Hermoso Beach's Moises Harri was substituted for Hilario Flores. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Miguel Joseph took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Florin Boerescu to make any attempt to save it. In the 61st match minute, Stoicii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Zmărăndache to maneuver through the defense. If Isidro Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florin Boerescu came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Monte Hermoso Beach's Arnaldo Matro. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Matro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The supporters of Stoicii booed when Monte Hermoso Beach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Matro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Gelu Zmărăndache made a precise shot to the right of Eleuterio Aztore. Monte Hermoso Beach's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Miguel Joseph scored 2-6 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florin Boerescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute Miguel Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Boerescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Monte Hermoso Beach's Miguel Joseph ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Florin Boerescu. Florin Boerescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-7. In the 90th minute, Moises Harri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Florin Boerescu. The goal made the score 2-8. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when Stoicii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Curuțiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Basilio Demario came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Monte Hermoso Beach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Demario couldn't finish the play. Florin Boerescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Matro, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Monte Hermoso Beach's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
