After a defensive mix-up in Kattvik kings's zone, John Holmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helge Elg came out of the goal and John Holmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the game, Thibaut Mazieres recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Helge Elg. Thibaut Mazieres showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robin Berg during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Robin Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Helge Elg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thibaut Mazieres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yann Scott got free with Helge Elg in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of La Pointe Courte booed when Kattvik kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Bergkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yann Scott could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Helge Elg made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Kattvik kings's Robin Berg got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute, Yann Scott reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Helge Elg. The goal made the score 2-0. Sabri Fouquet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Åke Johansson in the 45th minute of the match. Tim Quantin hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. La Pointe Courte's Sabri Fouquet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Åke Johansson in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Helge Elg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Quantin in the 51st minute of play. After 54 played minutes Kattvik kings got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Stigsson. Patxi Seux took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Helge Elg. Kattvik kings's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Karl-Åke Johansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Sabri Fouquet made a huge save. La Pointe Courte's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Karl-Åke Johansson scored to the left of an out of position Sabri Fouquet, making the score, 3-1. Dominique Virapin charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dominique Virapin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute, Dominique Virapin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Åke Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. La Pointe Courte's Pierre-Antoine Charbonnel was substituted for Tim Quantin. La Pointe Courte's Mathys Guigon was substituted for Dominique Virapin. Helge Elg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yann Scott went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Helge Elg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yann Scott, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Pointe Courte's goalkeeper Sabri Fouquet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Pierre-Antoine Charbonnel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Pointe Courte's Sabri Fouquet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save La Pointe Courte from getting a goal against them. When Thibaut Mazieres fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Pointe Courte's protests and gave Thibaut Mazieres a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, La Pointe Courte's Thibaut Mazieres got a free kick in the 86th minute. Helge Elg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yann Scott in the 89th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Kattvik kings's goal looked a bit too open when Thibaut Mazieres came free, but Helge Elg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
