Pedro Frascuelo started the match with the kick off. Bo Pååk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elliott Wickander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Frascuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Fransson in the 9th minute of play forced Ascacibar-Pérez's goalkeeper Ladislao Endira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Pepsi's goalkeeper Elliott Wickander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bo Pååk struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ladislao Endira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pepsi. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Fransson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kåre Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ladislao Endira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Edward Fransson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ladislao Endira. That made the score 0-1 in the 55 minute of play. Bo Pååk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Ladislao Endira made a huge save. A collision led to FC Pepsi getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. That made the score 0-2 in the 81 minute of play. Ladislao Endira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Pååk in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Pepsi's Johan Ekelund got a free kick in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Smitt in the 89th minute of play forced Ascacibar-Pérez's goalkeeper Ladislao Endira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Fransson took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ladislao Endira. Ladislao Endira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The FC Pepsi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Pepsi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
