Roger Klemensson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henry Åkerström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Stig Brask made a huge save. Stig Brask showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Åkerström in the 10th minute of the match. Roger Klemensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Broman, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Fredrik Bennet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Brask saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Elof Bergfelt fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samurai's protests and gave Elof Bergfelt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Samurai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elof Bergfelt to maneuver through the defense. Roger Klemensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Broman in the 23rd minute of the match. Haymakers FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Samurai's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lukas Apelkvist took the corner. The corner led Haymakers FC's Lukas Apelkvist to fire away a dangerous shot which Roger Klemensson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Lukas Apelkvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Klemensson skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Haymakers FC's Stig Brask got control of the ball when Andreas Rolandsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, Samurai's Henry Åkerström made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig Brask was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samurai's Roger Klemensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agne Barck in the 39th minute of play. Elof Bergfelt was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Elof Bergfelt kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Åkerström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Kurt Westerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haymakers FC and the Samurai players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Haymakers FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Kurt Westerberg hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Samurai's goal looked a bit too open when Jarl Granström came free, but Roger Klemensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göran Ambjörnsson charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Göran Ambjörnsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Haymakers FC booed when Samurai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Ambjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lukas Apelkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Roger Klemensson made a huge save. Roger Klemensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Broman, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 84th minute, Haymakers FC's Lukas Apelkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roger Klemensson. Roger Klemensson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Jan-Åke Johansson kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Apelkvist in the 90th minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Roger Klemensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute Henry Åkerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Brask saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kurt Westerberg hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes, Samurai's Andreas Rolandsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stig Brask came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Samurai reached it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Haymakers FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
