After 5 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Fontes. In the 6th minute, Teodoro Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Rodolfo Donato reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Javier Steven. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of C. A. Potrero booed when MUSHIBA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Steven didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. In the 25th minute, Serafino Geofredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Murillo Valladares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Mauro Gorri hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Javier Steven acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Frédson do Vale. 35 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Donato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Javier Steven. C. A. Potrero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Murillo Valladares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Geofredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute, Teodoro Romero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Murillo Valladares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafino Geofredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafino Geofredo got free with Murillo Valladares in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodolfo Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Donato in the 62nd minute of play forced C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Javier Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C. A. Potrero's Javier Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Donato in the 68th minute of play. Murillo Valladares was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Serafino Geofredo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Serafino Geofredo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. In the 77th minute, Rodolfo Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Javier Steven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Niceto Lehior in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MUSHIBA FC's Régis Sampaio. Felipe Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When Serafino Geofredo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the C. A. Potrero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Geofredo couldn't finish the play. Javier Steven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Rodolfo Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Steven having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
