The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Honorato Tono was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vamo A Calmarno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Potrero the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vamo A Calmarno's Honorato Tono got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 5 played minutes, C. A. Potrero's Serafino Geofredo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valentin Roldanillo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. A. Potrero reached it. Valentin Roldanillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Geofredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when C. A. Potrero's Adan Hustaz in the 9th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Valentin Roldanillo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Vamo A Calmarno through an amazing save. The crowd rose to their feet as Niceto Lehior kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valentin Roldanillo. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Vamo A Calmarno's Valentin Roldanillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Geofredo in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Vamo A Calmarno's Felix Berdaitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier Steven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Rafael Donostia kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Vamo A Calmarno's goalkeeper Valentin Roldanillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Javier Steven came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Vamo A Calmarno's Amadeo Lehior. But to his dismay, Amadeo Lehior quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Mauro Gorri charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Gorri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mauro Gorri hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Rafael Donostia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, C. A. Potrero's Alejo Nerio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valentin Roldanillo. Valentin Roldanillo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. In the 45th match minute, Vamo A Calmarno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Maria to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafino Geofredo to strike the kick off in the second half. Vamo A Calmarno's Valentin Roldanillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Nerio in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute Alejo Nerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Roldanillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Birjaio hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Vamo A Calmarno's Rafael Donostia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Steven narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Faustino Kelemen's late challenge caught a C. A. Potrero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Kelemen helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 minutes of play, C. A. Potrero's Serafino Geofredo made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Roldanillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th match minute, C. A. Potrero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Cruz to maneuver through the defense. After 68 minutes, Isidoro Birjaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Potrero and the Vamo A Calmarno players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Rafael Donostia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Berdaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Javier Steven made a huge save. Vamo A Calmarno were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after C. A. Potrero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafael Donostia took the corner. The corner led Vamo A Calmarno's Rafael Donostia to fire away a dangerous shot which Javier Steven despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Vamo A Calmarno's Valentin Roldanillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Nerio in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Vamo A Calmarno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Maria to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Argenis hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. C. A. Potrero were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vamo A Calmarno for a fine match.
