The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elof Bergfelt during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, one of Samurai:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Samurai. 19 minutes into the match, Samurai's goalkeeper Roger Klemensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarl Granström. The crowd rose to their feet as Haymakers FC's Jarl Granström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roger Klemensson. That made the score 1-2 after 24 minutes of play. 29 minutes into the match, Haymakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Bennet came free, but Stig Brask reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Kullgren kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Bo Svanström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stig Brask. Haymakers FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 34th minute Fredrik Bennet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Brask saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 42 minutes on the clock, Christoffer Sjöberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 42 played minutes Haymakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Sjöberg. 46 minutes into the game, Fredrik Bennet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Stig Brask was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Stig Brask successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 85th minute Per-Oskar Andberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Brask saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Bo Svanström made a precise shot to the right of Stig Brask. Haymakers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Stig Brask took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Oskar Andberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haymakers FC's Stig Brask played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Svanström in the 96th minute of play.
