MUSHIBA FC's Régis Sampaio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bernardo Maule, made in the 10th minute of the game. When Álvaro Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MUSHIBA FC's protests and gave Álvaro Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, MUSHIBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Tróia to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's goalkeeper Murillo Valladares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Desiderio Heriberto. In the 16thth minute of the game Serafino Geofredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MUSHIBA FC's Murillo Valladares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The MUSHIBA FC fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when MUSHIBA FC's Rodolfo Donato looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Maule during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to C. A. Potrero getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Bernardo Maule hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Álvaro Tróia made a precise shot to the right of Javier Steven. C. A. Potrero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 34th minute, Charles Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murillo Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Hustaz in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Álvaro Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Donato scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Steven, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michel Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Potrero's Javier Steven. Javier Steven was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafino Geofredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Murillo Valladares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Geofredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Rodolfo Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of MUSHIBA FC booed when C. A. Potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Gora didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 played minutes C. A. Potrero got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Gora. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Ramalho in the 76th minute of play forced C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Javier Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Serafino Geofredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Potrero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Geofredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Murillo Valladares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Geofredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Luan Cosme's late challenge caught a C. A. Potrero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luan Cosme helped the player get up and apologised. If Adan Hustaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Geofredo in the 91st minute of play forced MUSHIBA FC's goalkeeper Murillo Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Rodolfo Donato reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Javier Steven. The goal made the score 1-6. The C. A. Potrero supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MUSHIBA FC's performance. The match ended with a win for MUSHIBA FC.
