Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the match, Andrzej Filipowski notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Korona Kielce's Richard Brearley. Richard Brearley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Davis in the 10th minute of play forced Karpaty Krosno's goalkeeper Wasyl Sidorowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deon Tully hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Andrzej Filipowski came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Karpaty Krosno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrzej Filipowski couldn't finish the play. After having played for 16 minutes, Waldemar Prusek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karpaty Krosno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldemar Prusek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Karpaty Krosno's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Davis came free, but Wasyl Sidorowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Deon Tully hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 minutes, Dariusz Perkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karpaty Krosno and the Korona Kielce players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Korona Kielce booed when Karpaty Krosno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Perkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Deon Tully hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikolaj Pinczewski kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Wasyl Sidorowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Davis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dariusz Perkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Newton in the 46th minute of play forced Karpaty Krosno's goalkeeper Wasyl Sidorowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Andrzej Filipowski made the kick off in the second half. Richard Brearley came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Karpaty Krosno's Waldemar Prusek. But to his dismay, Waldemar Prusek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 55th minute, Tyrone Kirkpatrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Korona Kielce's Nick Holyfield was substituted for Deon Tully. A collision led to Korona Kielce getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tyrone Kirkpatrick hit a great ball. In the 59th match minute, Karpaty Krosno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Prusek to maneuver through the defense. Karpaty Krosno's Wasyl Sidorowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Karpaty Krosno from getting a goal against them. Slawomir Sikola kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Wasyl Sidorowicz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 77 minutes into the match, Karpaty Krosno's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Holyfield came free, but Wasyl Sidorowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Adrian Newton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wasyl Sidorowicz was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Alfie Stonehouse capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfie Stonehouse really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The supporters of Korona Kielce booed when Karpaty Krosno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurand Tyszka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wladyslaw Pietras hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Karpaty Krosno support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
