The audience thought a goal was coming when Damazy Jaszyna got free with Richard Brearley in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tyrone Kirkpatrick hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. If Damazy Jaszyna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radomir Jestrimski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ksawery Frodyma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyrone Kirkpatrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ksawery Frodyma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rhys Rathmell, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Rhys Rathmell took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ksawery Frodyma. Ksawery Frodyma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Korona Kielce defense, Leonard Terasek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Brearley. The Korona Kielce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Brearley should have stopped the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerzy Kiepski was the one to do the kick off. Richard Brearley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Kiepski in the 53rd minute of the match. Ksawery Frodyma made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Rhys Rathmell sent off a good shot on target. After 57 minutes of play, FC Sójcze's Ryszard Kostka made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Brearley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Korona Kielce made a substitution. Billie Wakefield replaced Martyn Van Der Hoorn. Richard Brearley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomir Jestrimski in the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Sójcze's Filip Oleszak got a free kick in the 64th minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Rhys Rathmell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Korona Kielce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rhys Rathmell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
