An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeriel Milikowsky in the 39th minute of play forced Montesclarense E.C.'s goalkeeper Elivélton Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. G.R.'s Rozen Lipsky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Cavalcante in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zahavi Drucker to strike the kick off in the second half. Wilson Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilson Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rozen Lipsky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gershon Uzan fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored G.R.'s protests and gave Gershon Uzan a yellow card for diving instead. Gershon Uzan hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Luiz Cavalcante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rozen Lipsky was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 76th minute Zahavi Drucker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gershon Uzan got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A very good chance. G.R. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
