After 6 minutes, Jose Rosalio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Dep. Union Madereros and the Barrialito AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jose Rosalio hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Efrain Abar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Maldonado in the 8th minute of play. Efrain Abar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Txema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Union Madereros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Ihintza to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Barrialito AFC's Teodosio Txema ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Efrain Abar. Efrain Abar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Efrain Abar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Club Dep. Union Madereros from getting a goal against them. After 29 played minutes, Barrialito AFC's Genaro Sugoi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Efrain Abar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barrialito AFC reached it. In the 32nd minute Pascual Tab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Abar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Maximino Endura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Dep. Union Madereros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Club Dep. Union Madereros's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Guillermo Maldonado scored to the left of an out of position Efrain Abar, making the score, 2-1. 41 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Selatse came free, but Alvaro Rik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Rik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Selatse in the 43rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Barrialito AFC's Efrain Abar threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pascual Tab, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrado Osorio made a kick off. If Blas Errando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Efrain Abar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Txema in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Guillermo Maldonado made a precise shot to the right of Efrain Abar. Club Dep. Union Madereros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 66th minute, Club Dep. Union Madereros's Maximino Endura dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Efrain Abar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Txema in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Union Madereros's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Txema came free, but Efrain Abar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Union Madereros's Conrado Osorio got a free kick in the 81st minute. Efrain Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Maldonado in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Conrado Osorio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvaro Rik. The goal made the score 3-3. Efrain Abar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Urtats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes Club Dep. Union Madereros got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Endura. Efrain Abar came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrialito AFC's Teodosio Txema. But to his dismay, Teodosio Txema quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Barrialito AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
