After 5 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo de Amaral. 8 minutes in the game, Luiz Cavalcante fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alvaro Rik having to interfere. Pascual Tab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 18 minutes on the clock, Luis Ospetsu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 18 played minutes Barrialito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Ospetsu. Montesclarense E.C.'s Elivélton Koehler got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Montesclarense E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Tab came free, but Luiz Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Tab in the 29th minute of the match. After 30th play minutes Pascual Tab shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Luiz Monteiro and just under the crossbar into goal. When Luiz Fábio Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montesclarense E.C.'s protests and gave Luiz Fábio Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. Luiz Fábio Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 35 minutes of play, Barrialito AFC's Pascual Tab made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luiz Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Tab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Barrialito AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Pascual Tab made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Montesclarense E.C.'s zone, Pascual Tab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Monteiro came out of the goal and Pascual Tab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Barrialito AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Pascual Tab hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Bruninho Paraense shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvaro Rik showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pascual Tab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Luiz Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute of the match, Pascual Tab tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luiz Monteiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 61st match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Paraense to maneuver through the defense. Pascual Tab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Luiz Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Montesclarense E.C. booed when Barrialito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Sugoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sena to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th match minute, Barrialito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Kelemen to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute of the match Elivélton Koehler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvaro Rik skillfully saved the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Teodosio Txema was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrialito AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montesclarense E.C. the free kick. In the 71st match minute, Barrialito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Txema to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Maldonado kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Elivélton Koehler struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Alvaro Rik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montesclarense E.C.. After 82 minutes, Pascual Tab mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrialito AFC and the Montesclarense E.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Barrialito AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Pascual Tab hit a great ball. Montesclarense E.C.'s Luiz Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Montesclarense E.C. from getting a goal against them. If Pascual Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Barrialito AFC's Pascual Tab got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barrialito AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
