The audience was convinced that Conrado Osorio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Monteiro was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Union Madereros's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Cavalcante came free, but Efrain Abar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Union Madereros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Osorio couldn't finish the play. The Club Dep. Union Madereros fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Montesclarense E.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
