The score was now 2-0. ATOWN's Lavrits Bjørnfalk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristoffer Kråk in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Jens-Ove Stenström made a precise shot to the right of Lavrits Bjørnfalk. ATOWN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 20th minute Kristoffer Kråk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lavrits Bjørnfalk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uno Gadd in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lavrits Bjørnfalk saved ATOWN from getting behind. Mountainhammer United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Börje Ahlstedt in the 27th minute. Börje Ahlstedt made a great header on Mountainhammer United's corner, it was just that ATOWN's Lavrits Bjørnfalk managed to reach the ball for a save. Oskar Valsgards short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Carl Samuelsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Erik Bållström during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mountainhammer United's Jan-Erik Bållström got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the ATOWN defense, Kristoffer Kråk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lavrits Bjørnfalk. The ATOWN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lavrits Bjørnfalk should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd match minute, ATOWN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donald Ludwigsen to maneuver through the defense. Ronny Tunström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lavrits Bjørnfalk came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Mountainhammer United's Uno Gadd. But to his dismay, Uno Gadd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronni Arnov to strike the kick off in the second half. Lavrits Bjørnfalk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristoffer Kråk in the 53rd minute. Kristoffer Kråk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Mountainhammer United getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jens-Ove Stenström hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mountainhammer United's Uno Gadd slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lavrits Bjørnfalk. That made the score 2-4 after 69 minutes of play. Kristoffer Kråk scored 2-5 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lavrits Bjørnfalk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kristoffer Kråk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Lavrits Bjørnfalk made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Uno Gadd kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lavrits Bjørnfalk. That made the score 2-6 in the 77 minute of play. Uno Gadd scored 2-7 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lavrits Bjørnfalk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th minute, Kristoffer Kråk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lavrits Bjørnfalk. The goal made the score 2-8. Eilif Hofsø's late challenge caught a Mountainhammer United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eilif Hofsø helped the player get up and apologised. Eilif Hofsø hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
