Diego Vargas hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Diego Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mercado Paulista F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Vargas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Romano kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Jacinto Sotil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaias Quirze showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Pegale De Puntín's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Tancredo came free, but Fernado Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Ambrosio Fagildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pegale De Puntín's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Fagildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaias Quirze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Pegale De Puntín:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mercado Paulista F.C:s goal. Fernado Lima had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Diego Vargas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fernado Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Rosalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mercado Paulista F.C's Isaias Quirze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Canor in the 32nd minute of play. Diego Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Fernado Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Isaias Quirze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Sotil. 44 minutes into the match, Armando Rosalio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernado Lima. Pegale De Puntín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Rosalio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Sotil to make the kick off. Albino Asteri lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 52 played minutes Mercado Paulista F.C got a freekick which was hit by Albino Asteri. In the 58th minute, Maximiliano Urtungo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Pegale De Puntín's Amancio Canor got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd match minute, Mercado Paulista F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Dimo to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute of the match Filomeno Cordarell sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaias Quirze skillfully saved the ball. Mercado Paulista F.C's Isaias Quirze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Sotil in the 67th minute of play. Isaias Quirze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Canor in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Segio came free, but Isaias Quirze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Amancio Canor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Quirze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Maximiliano Urtungo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes Pegale De Puntín got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Eguerdi. 94 minutes into the game, Pegale De Puntín's Amancio Canor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaias Quirze made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mercado Paulista F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
