After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Tuukka Liimatainen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tuukka Liimatainen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantino Elija breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Constantino Elija made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tuukka Liimatainen in the 10th minute. After 13 minutes, Leonides Gutxi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yalapa and the Liverpool FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tahvo Seppä's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantino Elija read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Pedro Urbasa struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Tomi Pihlman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yalapa. After a rather tough play, Yalapa's Leonides Gutxi got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th play minute Ilmo Kaven came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Constantino Elija. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Liverpool FC's Ilmo Kaven slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Constantino Elija. That made the score 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. A hard shot 32 in the game by Roope Lepistö from a close distance when the talented Constantino Elija managed to make a qualified save. Yalapa's players were relieved. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Urbasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomi Pihlman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Urbasa in the 35th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Ilmo Kaven took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Constantino Elija to make any attempt to save it. Constantino Elija made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Roope Lepistö sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Constantino Elija successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Roope Lepistö scored 4-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Constantino Elija, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ilmo Kaven was the one to do the kick off. Constantino Elija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roope Lepistö, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Constantino Elija came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Liverpool FC's Ilmo Kaven. But to his dismay, Ilmo Kaven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roope Lepistö in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Elija prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Roope Lepistö came free, but Constantino Elija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ilmo Kaven came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Liverpool FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilmo Kaven couldn't finish the play. Yalapa's Constantino Elija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roope Lepistö in the 70th minute of play. Elmer Harjanne lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Yalapa. Luisito Atauri stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tomi Pihlman. 5-1. Liverpool FC's Roope Lepistö managed to work through Yalapa's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Roope Lepistö dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. With a little luck, Liverpool FC's Tomi Pihlman got control of the ball when Luciano Salvino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andres Peru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomi Pihlman having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Roope Lepistö came free, but Constantino Elija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Aurelio Aztore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yalapa's Constantino Elija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iikka Haapaniemi in the 98th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Yalapa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Liverpool FC.
