In the 13th match minute, Stade Ygossais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Sébastien Bruel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Stade Ygossais booed when Villa Mitre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Beltxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Ramond got free with Anthony Vaissière in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anthony Vaissière was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adolfo Ramond showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre's Leandro Gabirel got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 35th minute, Adolfo Ramond left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 46th minute, Villa Mitre's Adolfo Ramond ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anthony Vaissière. Anthony Vaissière yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1.

The wind increased when Adolfo Ramond made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Stade Ygossais's Geoffrey Gand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Montez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Ramond in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anthony Vaissière saved Stade Ygossais from getting behind. Anthony Vaissière showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Ramond, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The audience was convinced that Adolfo Ramond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anthony Vaissière was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Geoffrey Gand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Roman Montez made a huge save. Augusto Gaitan might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anthony Vaissière. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 78th minute, Augusto Gaitan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Stade Ygossais's Diego Loche got a free kick in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Diego Loche took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Roman Montez to make any attempt to save it. In the 96th minute Adolfo Ramond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Vaissière saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Villa Mitre had won after a very even match.
