After 24 played minutes FC Saubrigues got a freekick which was hit by Alphonse Keita. When Sven-Oskar Josefsson came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Porjus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Oskar Josefsson couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Éluard Coulomb successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After recieving a nice pass, FC Saubrigues's Hamza Loaëc tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Måns Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faudel Langlois in the 37th minute of the match. Porjus's Leo Dalberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 39th minute. The referee ordered Leo Dalberg off the ground. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Porjus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Saubrigues:s goal. The supporters of FC Saubrigues booed when Porjus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Åkesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Måns Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faudel Langlois, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Faudel Langlois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Måns Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Salomon Buffet to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Matthieu Macquet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Måns Eliasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave Faudel Langlois a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Faudel Langlois hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. FC Saubrigues's Hamza Loaëc shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Måns Eliasson but with some difficulty. In the 90th minute, Matthieu Macquet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Saubrigues fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The FC Saubrigues supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Saubrigues would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
