FC Saubrigues's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faudel Langlois was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Mongols's Stig-Åke Andberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faudel Langlois in the 10th minute of play. Viktor Björk was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, The Mongols's Viktor Björk got a free kick in the 12th minute. Hamza Loaëc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hamza Loaëc made a great header on FC Saubrigues's corner, it was just that The Mongols's Stig-Åke Andberg managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 18th minute of the match, Matthieu Macquet got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stig-Åke Andberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Éluard Coulomb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Falkrans in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

FC Saubrigues's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Aaron Falkrans scored to the left of an out of position Éluard Coulomb, making the score, 0-1. In the 64th minute Aaron Falkrans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Éluard Coulomb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to The Mongols getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Carl Gustavsson hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Carl Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salomon Buffet might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stig-Åke Andberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salomon Buffet ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faudel Langlois in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Åke Andberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthieu Macquet in the 75th minute of play forced The Mongols's goalkeeper Stig-Åke Andberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Saubrigues booed when The Mongols was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Fristedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig-Åke Andberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamza Loaëc in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, The Mongols's Elliott Berg got a free kick in the 85th minute. Éluard Coulomb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elliott Berg in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Aaron Falkrans dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Éluard Coulomb, 0-3. Matthieu Macquet scored 1-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig-Åke Andberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. The Mongols walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
