The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes The Mongols got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Fristedt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Gustavsson in the 5th minute of play forced -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalkeeper Calistrat Bara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, The Mongols's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Ichimescu came free, but Stig-Åke Andberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valeriu Băcioiu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Stig-Åke Andberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Ichimescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Jonas Säv's late challenge caught a -BZF- Barca de Buzau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Säv helped the player get up and apologised. Jonas Säv kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Eduard Nechifor tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, The Mongols's goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Bălcescu came free, but Stig-Åke Andberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidiu Pătrașcu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stig-Åke Andberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Ovidiu Pătrașcu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. Stig-Åke Andberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codruț Ichimescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Șerban Bălcescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stig-Åke Andberg. That made the score 2-0 after 40 minutes of play. Ovidiu Pătrașcu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stig-Åke Andberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Ovidiu Pătrașcu slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Ichimescu in the 52nd minute of play forced The Mongols's goalkeeper Stig-Åke Andberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Calistrat Bara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Gustavsson in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match The Mongols got a corner. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carl Gustavsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Mongols's Roger Skog was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Calistrat Bara in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 58th minute Ovidiu Pătrașcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Åke Andberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes The Mongols got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Björk. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Emanuel Hristea got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Valeriu Băcioiu came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the -BZF- Barca de Buzau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valeriu Băcioiu couldn't finish the play. Stig-Åke Andberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codruț Ichimescu in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of -BZF- Barca de Buzau booed when The Mongols was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Skog didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to -BZF- Barca de Buzau getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Valeriu Băcioiu hit a great ball. In the 74th match minute, The Mongols was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magne Smefeldt to maneuver through the defense. The Mongols's Stig-Åke Andberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codruț Ichimescu in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the The Mongols defense, Codruț Ichimescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig-Åke Andberg. The The Mongols fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig-Åke Andberg should have stopped the shot. Stig-Åke Andberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Pătrașcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. -BZF- Barca de Buzau made a substitution. Emanuel Dorineanu replaced Grigore Tatomir. After a rather tough play, The Mongols's Aaron Falkrans got a free kick in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. -BZF- Barca de Buzau fully deserved thier win.
