The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mihnea Martinaș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Zacarias Portugal made a huge save. Mircea Stejaru hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in BlueLionesse's zone, Fabiano Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Șerban Moșanu came out of the goal and Fabiano Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petrică Pârcălab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Zacarias Portugal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacarias Portugal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcu Hagi in the 12th minute. F.C. Valinor's Zacarias Portugal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Valinor from getting a goal against them. When BlueLionesse's Marcu Hagi in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Valinor's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to BlueLionesse getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Petrică Pârcălab hit a great ball. Marcu Hagi took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Portugal. Zacarias Portugal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 29 minutes into the game, BlueLionesse's Mihnea Martinaș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarias Portugal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jacinto Tomé hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Zacarias Portugal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Inculeț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petrică Pârcălab came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zacarias Portugal could save by the left post. F.C. Valinor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Mihnea Martinaș scored to the left of an out of position Zacarias Portugal, making the score, 4-0. Marcu Hagi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Zacarias Portugal made a huge save. Zacarias Portugal was a little too slow when Marcu Hagi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 5-0.

In the 59th minute, Leonard Burghelea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, F.C. Valinor's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Martinaș came free, but Zacarias Portugal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Marcu Hagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Portugal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Portugal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcu Hagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Zacarias Portugal came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by BlueLionesse's Marcu Hagi. But to his dismay, Marcu Hagi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 85 minutes of play, BlueLionesse's Petrică Pârcălab made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zacarias Portugal was left in no man's land by his defense there! F.C. Valinor's Zacarias Portugal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Hagi in the 88th minute of play. Zacarias Portugal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Martinaș in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of F.C. Valinor booed when BlueLionesse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Burghelea didn't get a good kick on the ball. BlueLionesse's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
