Camillo Marcantonio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Gabriele in the 5th minute of play forced Capivara FC's goalkeeper João Francisco Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Edvaldo Leal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camillo Marcantonio. Edvaldo Leal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ivo Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Ivo Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermanno Di Giandomenico, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 27th minute, Eugenio Bozzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29thth minute of the game Anselmo Gabriele who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capivara FC's João Francisco Viana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Capivara FC's Narciso de Barros got a free kick in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Gabriele in the 32nd minute of play forced Capivara FC's goalkeeper João Francisco Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes, Amauri Sampaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capivara FC and the Santoryu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amauri Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Camillo Marcantonio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guto Bastos.

João Francisco Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Grieco in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Santoryu FC's Eugenio Bozzo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Eugenio Bozzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but João Francisco Viana made a huge save. João Francisco Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bianco Silvagni in the 69th minute of play. Alexander Grieco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anselmo Gabriele came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Santoryu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Gabriele couldn't finish the play. Guto Bastos scored 3-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camillo Marcantonio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivo Furtado hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The supporters of Santoryu FC booed when Capivara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guto Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santoryu FC's Camillo Marcantonio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvaldo Leal in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Capivara FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Santoryu FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
