In the 7th minute, Pedro Paulo Paes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The October 04 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 13 minutes into the game, Ruy Lira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. October 04's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marshrose the free kick. Santiago Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Teles in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Wesley Teles dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Santiago Hatch, 2-0. Claudinho Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Marshrose getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nathaniel Blackmon hit a great ball. In the 31st match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enoch Christopher to maneuver through the defense. Marshrose's Santiago Hatch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Teles in the 33rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Santiago Hatch successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marshrose's Santiago Hatch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Marshrose from getting a goal against them. Santiago Hatch was a little too slow when Pedro Paulo Paes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 4-0. When Fabinho Falcão fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored October 04's protests and gave Fabinho Falcão a yellow card for diving instead. Fabinho Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Léon Sweeney stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marshrose's Santiago Hatch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Paes in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes, Rory Desroches mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marshrose and the October 04 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of October 04 booed when Marshrose was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rory Desroches didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marshrose's Santiago Hatch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Ramos in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Wesley Teles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Hatch was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Marshrose's Léon Sweeney slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Diego de Toledo. That made the score 5-1 after 62 minutes of play. Pedro Paulo Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Santiago Hatch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pedro Paulo Paes fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored October 04's protests and gave Pedro Paulo Paes a yellow card for diving instead. Egídio Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 minutes of play, October 04's Wesley Teles made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Hatch was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute Wesley Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Hatch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wesley Teles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Hatch having to make a save. In the 84th minute, Nathaniel Blackmon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wesley Teles scored 7-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santiago Hatch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. During the 92nd minute of the match Pedro Paulo Paes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pedro Paulo Paes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, October 04's Pedro Paulo Paes got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Wesley Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Hatch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
