After 7 minutes, Elói Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the October 04 and the Marshrose players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes October 04 got a freekick which was hit by Elói Fernandez. In the 9th minute Wesley Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Hatch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Wesley Teles notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Marshrose's Santiago Hatch. Santiago Hatch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Marshrose's Enoch Christopher got a free kick in the 18th minute. Santiago Hatch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Paulo Paes went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to October 04 getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Wesley Teles hit a great ball. Santiago Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Antunes in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathaniel Blackmon in the 33rd minute of play forced October 04's goalkeeper Diego de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bret Fry fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marshrose's protests and gave Bret Fry a yellow card for diving instead. Bret Fry kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Wesley Teles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Hatch was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Santiago Hatch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wesley Teles's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Marshrose's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Teles came free, but Santiago Hatch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Pedro Paulo Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot. October 04's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Paulo Paes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Hatch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Wesley Teles made the kick off in the second half. Santiago Hatch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paulo Paes in the 53rd minute of play forced Marshrose's goalkeeper Santiago Hatch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Wesley Teles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The October 04 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Santiago Hatch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wesley Teles in the 58th minute. Pedro Paulo Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, October 04's Ruy Lira got a free kick in the 68th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Wesley Teles recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santiago Hatch. Wesley Teles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Ruy Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Wesley Teles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santiago Hatch. Marshrose's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wesley Teles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Claudinho Antunes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santiago Hatch. That made the score 0-7 in the 83 minute of play. Duarte Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Claudinho Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the October 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinho Antunes couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the game, Wesley Teles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Santiago Hatch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Teles in the 96th minute of play forced Marshrose's goalkeeper Santiago Hatch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded October 04 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Marshrose.
