Oakcroft Thrashers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stakbröte the free kick. After a rather tough play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Tobias Jernberg got a free kick in the 6th minute. Sebastian Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rutger Cane having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Jernberg in the 12th minute of play forced Stakbröte's goalkeeper Rutger Cane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stakbröte's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastian Eriksson was slow to take the kick. During this time Oakcroft Thrashers's players had a chance to rest. In the 23rd minute, Dan Wassenius made a precise shot to the right of Rutger Cane. Stakbröte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Oakcroft Thrashers's zone, Håkan Arhenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rickard Wennerström came out of the goal and Håkan Arhenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Håkan Arhenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rutger Cane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Jernberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Stakbröte's Rutger Cane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Jernberg in the 35th minute of play. Rutger Cane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Wassenius in the 36th minute. Rickard Wennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Arhenius in the 39th minute of play. Rickard Wennerström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Algot Danielsson went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Stakbröte's Rutger Cane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Jernberg in the 45th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Jernberg in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rutger Cane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Wassenius to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Oakcroft Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Jönsson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Jernberg in the 56th minute of play forced Stakbröte's goalkeeper Rutger Cane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, Stakbröte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Isaksson to maneuver through the defense. When Sebastian Eriksson came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Oakcroft Thrashers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Eriksson couldn't finish the play. Rutger Cane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Wassenius in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Jernberg in the 85th minute of play forced Stakbröte's goalkeeper Rutger Cane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Rickard Wennerström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkan Arhenius. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Håkan Arhenius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stakbröte's supporters rose to their feet, but Håkan Arhenius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rickard Wennerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rutger Cane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Håkan Arhenius during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Oakcroft Thrashers support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
