Charis Droumalias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Bine Šercelj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luka Saje fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charilaos Iakovatos having to interfere. In the 13th minute Charis Droumalias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bine Šercelj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, FC Koper's Charilaos Iakovatos threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Timi Osojnik, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 18 played minutes Seahawks V55 got a freekick which was hit by Iordanis Christodoulakis. 21 minutes into the game, Luka Saje cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Charilaos Iakovatos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bine Šercelj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charis Droumalias in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Znadimir Tancek in the 30th minute of play forced Seahawks V55's goalkeeper Charilaos Iakovatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led FC Koper's Mato Podlogar to fire away a dangerous shot which Charilaos Iakovatos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, FC Koper's goal looked a bit too open when Sakis Kritikos came free, but Bine Šercelj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Charis Droumalias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bine Šercelj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sakis Kritikos might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bine Šercelj. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sakis Kritikos ran back to his position shaking his head. Claudio Brkić kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match.

Luka Saje recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Seahawks V55's zone, Timi Osojnik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charilaos Iakovatos came out of the goal and Timi Osojnik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timi Osojnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charilaos Iakovatos having to interfere. The supporters of Seahawks V55 booed when FC Koper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Marš didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 85 in the game by Charis Droumalias from a close distance when the talented Bine Šercelj managed to make a qualified save. FC Koper's players were relieved. Charis Droumalias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Bine Šercelj skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 87th minute, Znadimir Tancek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Charis Droumalias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bine Šercelj was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Marios Vikatos charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marios Vikatos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Seahawks V55 got a freekick which was hit by Marios Vikatos. For all the effort they put into the match, the Seahawks V55 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Koper.
