The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC Koper's Znadimir Tancek got a free kick in the 2nd minute. With a little luck, Chelmza Team's Michal Gniech got control of the ball when Luka Saje tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute Znadimir Tancek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Gniech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes, Barnaba Jaraczeski made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Koper's Bine Šercelj tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Antoni Pawlik put in a rough tackle. The supporters of FC Koper booed when Chelmza Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Kanczuszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Marino Gregorič sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michal Gniech skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Benedykt Cieliczka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelmza Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedykt Cieliczka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Koper's goalkeeper Bine Šercelj, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luka Saje stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Michal Gniech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timi Osojnik in the 53rd minute of the match. Bine Šercelj made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Barnaba Jaraczeski sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaj Ožbolt during the 63rd minute.
