Guillen Mijangos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwardo Ruete to maneuver through the defense. Silvério Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argi Rionda in the 39th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Universitario got a freekick which was hit by Vidal Cantabrana. After 46 played minutes Dinamo Web Clube got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Santana. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valério Valle to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Nesor Ennecon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Universitario's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dinamo Web Clube the free kick. After a rather tough play, Universitario's Nesor Ennecon got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 58 played minutes Dinamo Web Clube got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Mineiro. The audience was convinced that Vidal Cantabrana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvério Cruz was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After 64 played minutes Universitario got a freekick which was hit by Erasto Tella. Vidal Cantabrana took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvério Cruz. Silvério Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Vidal Cantabrana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvério Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Dinamo Web Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Vidal Cantabrana came free, but Silvério Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Vidal Cantabrana put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Silvério Cruz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karlo Gavilanes during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Universitario getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Karlo Gavilanes hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Dinamo Web Clube failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
