Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juliusz Marek started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Stefan Hludzenski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan Hludzenski's late challenge caught a Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Hludzenski helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes BYDGOSTIA got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Hludzenski. When Zbyszek Olejarz came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Zagłębie Dąbrowskie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszek Olejarz couldn't finish the play. Hieronim Brudnicki got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 8th match minute before Lucjan Oborski had time to react. BYDGOSTIA's Stasio Rozanski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Banas in the 18th minute of play. Stasio Rozanski came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Juliusz Marek. But to his dismay, Juliusz Marek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Zagłębie Dąbrowskie getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bernard Kieca hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Teofil Budarz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes, Hieronim Brudnicki made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Lucjan Oborski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Barnaba Banas got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Wasyl Tusk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BYDGOSTIA's Stasio Rozanski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Olejarz in the 39th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hieronim Brudnicki made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to BYDGOSTIA getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ignacy Kilarski hit a great ball. A hard shot by Wawrzyniec Ewertowski from long distance, 52 minutes into the match, got Stasio Rozanski's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some careless play in the Zagłębie Dąbrowskie defense, Hieronim Brudnicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucjan Oborski. The Zagłębie Dąbrowskie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucjan Oborski should have stopped the shot. If Zbyszek Olejarz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 63 played minutes BYDGOSTIA got a freekick which was hit by Ignacy Kilarski. 64 minutes into the match, BYDGOSTIA's goal looked a bit too open when Juliusz Marek came free, but Stasio Rozanski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Zbyszek Olejarz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 70 minutes of play BYDGOSTIA's Stefan Hludzenski was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Wasyl Witkowski was substituted for Leon Plaski. Stasio Rozanski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliusz Marek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Bury came free, but Lucjan Oborski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 played minutes BYDGOSTIA got a freekick which was hit by Ignacy Kilarski. When Juliusz Marek came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Zagłębie Dąbrowskie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juliusz Marek couldn't finish the play. Andrzej Bury blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucjan Oborski having to make a save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of BYDGOSTIA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie:s goal. Zbyszek Olejarz's late challenge caught a BYDGOSTIA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zbyszek Olejarz helped the player get up and apologised. BYDGOSTIA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
