Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Universitario's Vidal Cantabrana started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Erasto Tella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillen Mijangos came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Teodelina FC's Placido Kauldi. But to his dismay, Placido Kauldi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Restu Pineda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Universitario's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teodelina FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Universitario's Restu Pineda got a free kick in the 11th minute. After some careless play in the Universitario defense, Placido Kauldi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillen Mijangos. The Universitario fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillen Mijangos should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Bonifacio Echarriza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute Eliseo Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Mijangos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Milio in the 26th minute of play forced Universitario's goalkeeper Guillen Mijangos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes of play, Teodelina FC's Eliseo Gaufred made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guillen Mijangos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Universitario's Guillen Mijangos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Milio in the 41st minute of play. Eliseo Gaufred scored 0-5 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillen Mijangos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Placido Kauldi to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garcia Dalaje to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute of the match Cayetano Garci shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guillen Mijangos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Universitario's Bonifacio Echarriza got a free kick in the 55th minute. Guillen Mijangos made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Paulino Milio sent off a good shot on target. Teodelina FC's Robustiano Conrao was substituted for Gaston Salvadore. After a rather tough play, Universitario's Restu Pineda got a free kick in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garcia Dalaje during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The long shot by Cesar Abastas in the 65th minute really tested Guillen Mijangos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Argi Rionda charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Argi Rionda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Argi Rionda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match Ricardo Sanduru shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guillen Mijangos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Teodelina FC booed when Universitario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Echarriza didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Teodelina FC's Guillen Mijangos threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliseo Gaufred, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice moves Paulino Milio could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Guillen Mijangos however easily saved by the left post. Guillen Mijangos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Gaufred, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Paulino Milio took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillen Mijangos. Guillen Mijangos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Guillen Mijangos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Gaufred in the 92nd minute of play. Bonifacio Echarriza kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Guillen Mijangos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cayetano Garci. Teodelina FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
