If Albano Nabar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Los Mega's goalkeeper Baldomiro Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Faruk Hasanoğlu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gogo Cebrian during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of KOCAELİSPOR booed when Los Mega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Los Mega getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Osvaldo Ugaitz hit a great ball. Mustafa Emrah Mertoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Los Mega booed when KOCAELİSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ersin Kahveci didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Faruk Hasanoğlu got free with Baldomiro Lopez in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KOCAELİSPOR's Ali Faruk Hasanoğlu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 19th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Halis Tuncaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute, Jonatan Orlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustafa Emrah Mertoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Albano Nabar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Mega fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to KOCAELİSPOR getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Arslan Kamran hit a great ball. Leonardo Mel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vefa İlenç. KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Ersin Kahveci fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KOCAELİSPOR's protests and gave Ersin Kahveci a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, KOCAELİSPOR's Ersin Kahveci got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 35 minutes Los Mega's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mustafa Emrah Mertoğlu who took care of the corner kick. With his leg Baldomiro Lopez managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when KOCAELİSPOR's Ali Faruk Hasanoğlu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 46 played minutes KOCAELİSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Kerimhan Yalavaç. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ali Faruk Hasanoğlu was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ali Faruk Hasanoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomiro Lopez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Albano Nabar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vefa İlenç. That made the score 2-2 in the 55 minute of play. Baldomiro Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Faruk Hasanoğlu in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Ali Faruk Hasanoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Baldomiro Lopez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KOCAELİSPOR's Haşim Gözlem was substituted for Kerimhan Yalavaç. Zekai Hallaç kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Vefa İlenç didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Raymon went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the game, KOCAELİSPOR's Mustafa Emrah Mertoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomiro Lopez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Ali Faruk Hasanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Baldomiro Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KOCAELİSPOR's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
