In the 72nd minute Carter Pomponio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Zander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Borgo Doria F.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Felice Pardini hit a great ball. Michael Dubois, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Lilla Jordberga BK's goal looked a bit too open when Carter Pomponio came free, but Sven-Olof Zander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 minutes of play, Borgo Doria F.C.'s Carter Pomponio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Olof Zander was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Borgo Doria F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lilla Jordberga BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
