After 11 played minutes Lite Finare Lite Bättre got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Rudqvist. 14 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Magnusson came free, but Tomás Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lite Finare Lite Bättre booed when The Cavern Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Lobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Algot Kvick came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by The Cavern Club's Martín Palermo. But to his dismay, Martín Palermo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Algot Kvick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Otsoko in the 22nd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Hökkvist came free, but Tomás Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romulo Huly charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romulo Huly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

In the 54th minute, Martín Palermo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Cavern Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After some careless play in the The Cavern Club defense, Oskar Pilgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Esiquio. The The Cavern Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Esiquio should have stopped the shot. Tomás Esiquio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Hökkvist in the 60th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Ove Hökkvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomás Esiquio. That made the score 3-3 after 62 minutes of play. Sebastian Fliz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of The Cavern Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lite Finare Lite Bättre:s goal. The supporters of Lite Finare Lite Bättre booed when The Cavern Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Huly didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geronimo Vincente kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Ove Hökkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ove Hökkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ove Hökkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Lite Finare Lite Bättre got a freekick which was hit by Erling Petersson. Aleksander Åström kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, The Cavern Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Vincente to maneuver through the defense. The The Cavern Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lite Finare Lite Bättre were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
