Romulo Huly kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Emerson Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Bruno Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute Ademir Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, きよし F.C.™'s goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Otsoko came free, but Isaltino Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Otsoko hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Ermegildo Otsoko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Nestor Freire succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 60th playminute. Sebastian Fliz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, きよし F.C.™'s Emerson Vinhas tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Basilio Lorien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When Basilio Lorien fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Cavern Club's protests and gave Basilio Lorien a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, The Cavern Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Lorien to maneuver through the defense. The Cavern Club's Tomás Esiquio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save The Cavern Club from getting a goal against them. Isaltino Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martín Palermo in the 81st minute of play. Perivaldo da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tomás Esiquio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Nestor Freire recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomás Esiquio. Nestor Freire showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. After a rather tough play, The Cavern Club's Basilio Lorien got a free kick in the 96th minute. The きよし F.C.™ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing きよし F.C.™ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
