The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nistor Arjoca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Wester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Little Big's Michael Glad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Little Big from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Little Big's Håkan Holmberg got a free kick in the 26th minute. Nistor Arjoca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Sellberg in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Little Big was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Ove Lidman to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Göran Sellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Arjoca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Aristide Bucataru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristide Bucataru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Glad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marioara Birligea's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Little Big's zone, Adrian Almăgean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Glad came out of the goal and Adrian Almăgean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Little Big's Erik Wester got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marioara Birligea to strike the kick off in the second half. Michael Glad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marioara Birligea in the 53rd minute of play. When -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Marioara Birligea in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Little Big's goalie prevented a goal. With a left leg Michael Glad saved Little Big from getting behind. Michael Glad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marioara Birligea, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Adrian Almăgean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Glad was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Michael Glad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Zbughină in the 72nd minute of play. Nistor Arjoca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Ove Lidman in the 73rd minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Little Big's Erik Wester sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nistor Arjoca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Michael Glad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marioara Birligea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Glad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Zbughină, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Nistor Arjoca got control of the ball when Erik Wester tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The -BZF- Petrolul Berca fans cheered their team off the field, for while Little Big had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
