Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 8th match minute, Little Big was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Sellberg to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Javier Cahill in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Glad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michael Glad came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Dwayne Clement. But to his dismay, Dwayne Clement quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Javier Cahill who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Michael Glad when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of New England Minas booed when Little Big was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Sjöström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Little Big's goal looked a bit too open when Jacques Stovall came free, but Michael Glad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Little Big's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oscar Price was slow to take the kick. During this time New England Minas's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Oscar Price almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Little Big's Michael Glad did a great save. After some careless play in the Little Big defense, Javier Cahill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Glad. The Little Big fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Glad should have stopped the shot. Michael Glad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacques Stovall, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Michael Glad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacques Stovall's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Javier Cahill made a precise shot to the right of Michael Glad. Little Big's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Little Big's Ingvar Isaksson got a free kick in the 45th minute. New England Minas's Leonardo Wiggins shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 46th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Michael Glad but with some difficulty. In the 48thth minute of the game Dwayne Clement who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Little Big's Michael Glad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Cahill to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Cahill in the 55th minute of play forced Little Big's goalkeeper Michael Glad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Sellberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bradly Gray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 71st minute Javier Cahill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Glad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Javier Cahill cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Michael Glad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute, Bo-Erik Biörnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Price recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Cahill in the 88th minute of play forced Little Big's goalkeeper Michael Glad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Glad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Cahill in the 90th minute of play. New England Minas were furious when Stewart Francis was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Bradly Gray had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Håkan Holmberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Göran Sellberg struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Bradly Gray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Little Big. Bradly Gray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Ove Lidman, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The New England Minas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Little Big had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
