In the 3rd match minute, Santa Maradona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Donzel to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Ingmar Målare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Pes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Jaunti hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Santa Maradona's Victor Jaunti tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Elvio Pacorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred Brandin hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Malmö Torpedos's Edvin Lindblom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Pacorro in the 31st minute of play. Ingmar Målare struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Gogo Pes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malmö Torpedos. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Anders Andreasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malmö Torpedos's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Andreasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Pes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingmar Målare was the one to do the kick off. Ingmar Målare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Pes having to interfere. Serafin Donio's late challenge caught a Malmö Torpedos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafin Donio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Malmö Torpedos booed when Santa Maradona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Donio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Jaunti got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 81st minute, Victor Jaunti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingmar Målare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Pes having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Anders Andreasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a rather tough play, Malmö Torpedos's Karl-Åke Galle got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ingmar Målare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Pes having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
