Luís de Moraes was a little too slow when Adolfo Cordera got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 11th match minute, C.R. FLANALDO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Silva to maneuver through the defense. C.R. FLANALDO's Luís de Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save C.R. FLANALDO from getting a goal against them. Candido Gudesteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Yaji FC's Adolfo Cordera got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Candido Gudesteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Penha in the 25th minute of play forced Yaji FC's goalkeeper Candido Gudesteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Adolfo Cordera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Penha in the 40th minute of play forced Yaji FC's goalkeeper Candido Gudesteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.R. FLANALDO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Gervasio Faro scored to the left of an out of position Luís de Moraes, making the score, 2-0. Luís de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
52 minutes into the game, Haroldo Gorri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Luís de Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Gervasio Faro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís de Moraes was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the game, Dida Dantas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.R. FLANALDO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yaji FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.R. FLANALDO's Dida Dantas got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gervasio Faro in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís de Moraes saved C.R. FLANALDO from getting behind. After a rather tough play, C.R. FLANALDO's Amadeu Silva got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 68th minute of the match Nunez Danel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís de Moraes skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Gervasio Faro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís de Moraes was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Luís de Moraes came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Yaji FC's Gervasio Faro. But to his dismay, Gervasio Faro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 75th minute, Adolfo Cordera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, C.R. FLANALDO's João Linares got a free kick in the 79th minute. Yaji FC's Gervasio Faro got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Amadeu Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yaji FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Faro in the 90th minute of play forced C.R. FLANALDO's goalkeeper Luís de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Amadeu Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 minutes of play C.R. FLANALDO's Dida Dantas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Dida Dantas hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Luís de Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervasio Faro's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. There was no doubt that Yaji FC were the better team. Yaji FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
