Aygün Yaltırak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Halstensen in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute Hans-Petter Krogh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aygün Yaltırak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeynel Adıvar's late challenge caught a Rakkestad IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. ALTAY MYTHS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Turgut Tümer notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Rakkestad IF's Kenneth Friis. Kenneth Friis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Rakkestad IF's zone, Bayındır Mehmet Altunay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Friis came out of the goal and Bayındır Mehmet Altunay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeynel Adıvar hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Otto Klepp came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Rakkestad IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Klepp couldn't finish the play. Aygün Yaltırak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Halstensen in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
Aygün Yaltırak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Klepp in the 52nd minute of the match. Ümit Nihat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Kenneth Friis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Turgut Tümer might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kenneth Friis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Halstensen ran back to his position shaking his head. Otto Klepp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otto Klepp struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Aygün Yaltırak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rakkestad IF. Bektaş Veli Taykurt hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Christian Halstensen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in ALTAY MYTHS's zone, Christian Halstensen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aygün Yaltırak came out of the goal and Christian Halstensen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
