An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Tejero in the 6th minute of play forced AEK FC's goalkeeper Ole Lorentzen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erauso Espantoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Bjørsvik, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åge Undheim in the 17th minute of play forced Internacional Pechofrío's goalkeeper Erauso Espantoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Asgeir Lam. Ole Lorentzen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Venceslao Solares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, AEK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Bjørsvik to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Hansen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Internacional Pechofrío getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Garci Claveria hit a great ball. Nils Berg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. Toli Beloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ole Lorentzen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Ole Lorentzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venceslao Solares in the 61st minute of the match. AEK FC's Ole Lorentzen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Gredilla in the 70th minute of play. Erauso Espantoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Hansen, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Åge Undheim charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Åge Undheim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Åge Undheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Erauso Espantoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Internacional Pechofrío's Frantxizko Aulestia got a free kick in the 87th minute. Inocente Moreyre kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Eric Reppe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venceslao Solares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole Lorentzen having to interfere. Internacional Pechofrío's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
