In the 3rd minute, Chris Bjørsvik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erauso Espantoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 6th match minute, AEK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Øyvind Furuseth to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th match minute, AEK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Øyvind Furuseth to maneuver through the defense. Ole Lorentzen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toli Beloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Hansen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erauso Espantoso. That made the score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toli Beloso in the 19th minute of play forced AEK FC's goalkeeper Ole Lorentzen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Leon Gredilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ole Lorentzen. AEK FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Gredilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A collision led to AEK FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Åge Undheim hit a great ball. Ole Lorentzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Tejero in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asgeir Lam during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AEK FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Asgeir Lam hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 51 played minutes, Internacional Pechofrío's Garci Claveria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ole Lorentzen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Internacional Pechofrío reached it. If Leon Gredilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venceslao Solares kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Jakob Ingebrigtsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th match minute, AEK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Hansen to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Leon Gredilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Hansen took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erauso Espantoso. Erauso Espantoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. A collision led to Internacional Pechofrío getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Mateo Tejero hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in AEK FC's zone, Leon Gredilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ole Lorentzen came out of the goal and Leon Gredilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AEK FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Internacional Pechofrío for a fine match.
