In the 3rd minute Kyle Deal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeroen Himschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernst Jansens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Eddie Reina made a huge save. 6 minutes into the game, Andries Verstraeten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portus Ganda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frenchville Sports Club the free kick. After 8 played minutes Portus Ganda got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Jansens. Damon Waters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aaron Marcola kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Marcola during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Damon Waters made a precise shot to the right of Jeroen Himschoot. Portus Ganda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Frenchville Sports Club booed when Portus Ganda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Van Bouschot didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Evan Millar came free, but Jeroen Himschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kyle Deal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeroen Himschoot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reese Salah went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damon Waters in the 31st minute of play forced Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Jeroen Himschoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Damon Waters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeroen Himschoot was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Reese Salah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeroen Himschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Deal, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Portus Ganda defense, Damon Waters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeroen Himschoot. The Portus Ganda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeroen Himschoot should have stopped the shot. Damon Waters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeroen Himschoot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kyle Deal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeroen Himschoot was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The Portus Ganda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Frenchville Sports Club were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pierre Van Leemputte to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Albert Cave hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Damon Waters had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeroen Himschoot. Portus Ganda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damon Waters was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After 60 minutes, Crawford Malacarne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frenchville Sports Club and the Portus Ganda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Frenchville Sports Club's Crawford Malacarne got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute Damon Waters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeroen Himschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frenchville Sports Club's Damon Waters got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Portus Ganda's Jeroen Himschoot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Portus Ganda from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute, Damon Waters reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jeroen Himschoot. The goal made the score 0-6. Kris Franklin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kyle Deal scored 0-7 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeroen Himschoot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeroen Himschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damon Waters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Portus Ganda getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Timmy Van Bouschot hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Deal in the 89th minute of play forced Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Jeroen Himschoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portus Ganda's Jeroen Himschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damon Waters in the 90th minute of play. Damon Waters took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeroen Himschoot. Jeroen Himschoot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. In the 94th match minute, Frenchville Sports Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Crawford Malacarne to maneuver through the defense. Portus Ganda's Pierre Van Leemputte got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frenchville Sports Club played a much better game than Portus Ganda and deserved their victory. The Portus Ganda players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
