The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Bola Forte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorden Colebrandts was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timmy Van Bouschot during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mamutes EC booed when Portus Ganda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Van Bouschot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorden Colebrandts came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Mamutes EC's Simão de Lara. But to his dismay, Simão de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nilson Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steff Bastiaens, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Steff Bastiaens charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steff Bastiaens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Portus Ganda got a freekick which was hit by Steff Bastiaens. In the 20th minute, Timmy Van Bouschot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorden Colebrandts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bola Forte, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Bola Forte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorden Colebrandts. Portus Ganda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bola Forte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Nilson Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steff Bastiaens in the 27th minute of the match. Pierre Van Leemputte kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Portus Ganda's zone, Bola Forte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorden Colebrandts came out of the goal and Bola Forte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute, Mamutes EC's Bola Forte ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jorden Colebrandts. Jorden Colebrandts yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Lennert Dirickx charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lennert Dirickx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Portus Ganda getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Lennert Dirickx hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Bola Forte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamutes EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bola Forte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorden Colebrandts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bola Forte made a kick off. Pedrinho Loureiro took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorden Colebrandts. Jorden Colebrandts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. In the 68th minute Simão de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorden Colebrandts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorden Colebrandts came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Mamutes EC's Bola Forte. But to his dismay, Bola Forte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Rui Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. A collision led to Portus Ganda getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Steff Bastiaens hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Mamutes EC's Ronaldo Dantas got a free kick in the 94th minute. Portus Ganda's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
