Rodrigo Cidro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walmyr Hoffmann's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, La Cosa Nostra's Inocencio Florian got a free kick in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Simão de Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Cidro. La Cosa Nostra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simão de Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Mamutes EC booed when La Cosa Nostra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Cordarryl didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Eder came free, but Nilson Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Cidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bola Forte in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Mamutes EC booed when La Cosa Nostra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Chucho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, La Cosa Nostra's Joaquin Chucho got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bola Forte in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Cidro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joaquin Chucho's late challenge caught a Mamutes EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Chucho helped the player get up and apologised. Rodrigo Cidro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson dos Santos in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Bola Forte made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Cidro. La Cosa Nostra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 45th minute Simão de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Cidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Cidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Hoffmann in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amador Esquipula made a kick off. Joaquin Chucho was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, La Cosa Nostra's Joaquin Chucho got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Rodrigo Cidro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bola Forte went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 60th minute, Bola Forte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amador Esquipula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilson Paranaense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. If Augusto Eder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bola Forte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Cidro having to interfere. If Nicolas Cordarryl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Nicolas Cordarryl hit a great ball. La Cosa Nostra's Rodrigo Cidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bola Forte in the 75th minute of play. Ronaldo Dantas hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. La Cosa Nostra's Nicolas Cordarryl got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Nicolas Cordarryl off the ground. Nicolas Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Mamutes EC's Bola Forte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Cidro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 90th minute, Bola Forte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rodrigo Cidro. The goal made the score 0-6. Rodrigo Cidro made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Cido Cosme sent off a good shot on target. Amador Esquipula hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute of the match Cido Cosme sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Cidro skillfully saved the ball. Mamutes EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
