Grêmio FBPA's Dudu Negri managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edgardo Solano in the 89 minute of the game. In the 92nd minute Rigoberto Erosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Cresitobalo De Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hispania fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. When the match was over Hispania could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Grêmio FBPA throughout the match.
