The referee ignored STARS TEAM's protests and gave Erberk Hisarcık a yellow card for diving instead. Erberk Hisarcık hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Muharrem Bektaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muharrem Bektaşs short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Corozo Nevares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zarbonin Aenlle's late challenge caught a STARS TEAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zarbonin Aenlle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Astillero del Guayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Fortuño to maneuver through the defense. STARS TEAM's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
